Tent Reviews What makes gear great? With so many makes and styles of camping tents out there, these tent reviews will help narrow down which one is best for you. I've put these reviews and this site together to answer your questions, and to save you time, money, and hopefully the frustration that I've went through... My goal is to make your next trip easier, more fun, and more enjoyable. I've thrown away good money on lousy equipment and I've invested in other camping gear and hiking equipment that I consider to be great. I'm sure you already know there's no comparison. And while there is "get-me-by-gear" available that does an average job, I'd rather get something I love to use. It just seems like "average" is hard to get excited about. I mean why should I spend money on something I don't really like? It just doesn't make sense to me to waste money on something "average" only to replace it down-the-road with what I really wanted in the first place. Not only will you be happier because you got what you really wanted, but you can use the money you would have spent on the "get-me-by-gear" for something else. Enough philosophy... available, there are others that don't do quite as well. If I don't mention it here it's either because I haven't had time to review it yet or it's something I can't recommend. So if I haven't mentioned it it's your mission, should you choose to accept it, to figure out into which of the two categories that piece of gear might fall. ;-) Why should you believe in my tent reviews and the other camping gear or hiking equipment I recommend? Well, first of all you don't have to. That's only up to you. I can't force my opinions on you or anyone for that matter, and I wouldn't want to. And no, I don't work for any of the manufacturers. What I can offer though is my experience. I've been camping since I was a kid and I've learned a few things over those 20+ years. Add to that the fact that I've spent over 2,000 hours researching information and gear and putting this site together... hopefully I'm in the position to save you some time and money when it comes to investing in your next piece of gear.
